Heart has a warm manner and is quite social, always happy to meet someone new. She tries to make others feel good about themselves, and never fails to offer a support to those who seem to need it. Sincerely likes helping. It makes her feel useful, needed, like she makes a positive difference in the world. She is responsible and reliable, always awake at the same (early) hour each morning, ready for the day. In general, she is a practical, down-to-earth sort who doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about abstract things. In spite of this, Heart is very smart, and capable of surprising wit and subtlety when she puts her mind to it. Although a predator, Heart doesn't like to kill. She eats as much non-meat food as she can without impairing her health. When she must eat meat, she tries to kill as quickly and painlessly as she can, and balks at taking overly young prey. Being so kind and gentle herself, Heart struggles to understand mean, cruel, and sadistic behavior. As a working animal, Heart has a nice, smooth gait for riding, and she works well as part of an organized team (of Tokotas, or otherwise.)
