Jongen was found abandoned in the White Forest by Sanna. It appeared as though the young pup was left behind or got separated by her family. Starving and vulnerable, Sanna took the pup back to her small town where her and her husband, John, raised the pup, Jongen. They trained her and loved her as they loved their own children.
