Jormungandr is a very powerful creature. He's also a no nonsense type of creautre, similar to his brother. He's quick to lash out at others if they try his patience too much. The quickness of his strikes have been likened to that of a huge snake. His hunting techniques tend to mirror them as well. He bites then wraps his powerful front legs around the necks of his prey, allowing him to hold on tighter until they expire.
