Illidan, also known as the Betrayer, was the twin brother of Malfurion Stormrage. His own personal sacrifices and assistance he was giving were being overshadowed by his brother's. After Tyrande outright rejected him when he opened up to her, something snapped. He desired power; he didn't want to be dwarfed anymore. He wanted to make a difference that mattered even more than Malfurion did. Illidan was selfish and wanted only more power for power's sake. This drive led Illidan to do the right things for the wrong reasons. He then used his intended targets as justification in what he did, but it was always for more power, a true anti-hero. He currently resides within the Pack of the Alliance alongside his brother, it is uncertain how his future will turn out.
