Q is a little bit absent-minded at times, taking after his sire in that regard, but he's also quite bright and strangely mechanically inclined. If there's a gate that's been opened or a harness that's been neatly unbuckled, it's probably Q's doing. He loves to watch people and can often be found hanging around crafters and mechanics, seemingly studying their work. In spite of - or maybe because of - his brilliant mind, he's a little socially oblivious and has had to be saved from putting his own foot in his mouth more than once. He had been a candidate for some fairly prestigious show rings - unfortunately his easily-distracted temperment got him in trouble more than once. Still, his talents make him a valued member of the Toki Search and Rescue pack and he's proud to play his part.
