Zoom was found in a box on the side of the road as a newborn pup. Someone had violently cut his foreleg off and stabbed him several times before leaving him for dead. He was found by a hiker who took him to the nearest vet clinic, where the doctor instantly fell in love with him. As he grew from a timid pup to a rambunctious Tokota, it was was quickly discovered that Zoom had a talent and passion for running long distances. Despite his injuries, Zoom does extremely well at it. Due to unforseen circustances, his previous owner could no longer care for him and had to give him up. He's currently under the care of Corvous. Whilst normally strict with his Baq'ian patients, he has a soft spot for the wounded Tokota.
