Nero is a very confident and self-centered tokota, almost narcissistic. He thinks that he is royalty, and that everyone around him should treat him accordingly. He is quick to snap if someone tries to tell him that he's not a king, and unfortunately for them he is very capable of holding his own in a fight. Most tokotas he meets try to avoid him or just ignore him because of his tendency to dominate any action or conversation, and his narcissistic tendencies. He especially loves to torment Vitalis, and enjoys pulling out the saintly tokota's weaknesses and fears and exploiting them. Nero gets a sick satisfaction from messing with Vitalis more than any other tokota, but he is also brutal and tyrant-like to the only tokota that puts up with him, Cibard. Nero also has a very rarely shown caring side, but the only tokota he has ever cared about like family is Cibard, who sticks to him like glue.
