Nero is past his prime but keeps up with the younger Tokotas easily. He's is physically very strong.

Stubborn and strong willed, Nero is always ready for an adventure albeit by his own rules. He was kept as a guard- and poacher's Tokota at a cabin far from civilization, he used to be mistreated and was kept on a chain outside the cabin at all times since he was a pup. Due to this, he's very mistrusting of humans until his current handler, Hawk, gained his trust. He's still quite wary of other humans and will make sure they know this by showing them his teeth.
