The more intimidating of the two tokotas that Runner owns, Maybe is a large and towering creature. He is fiercely protective of both Runner and Perhaps, always quick to snarl and push himself in front of the two if he senses danger or threats nearby. Having taken on a parental role for the young human under their care, Maybe often goes out of his way to hunt down extra food for Runner to eat, fearing that the sickly boy will die if he does not eat enough.
