Very curious and alert, however Magpie is very docile and gentle. She adores exploring new places and especially loves chasing, and watching birds, hence why she was named Magpie and given the nickname Birdie by her handler. Being deaf from birth, Magpie learned how to feel vibrations through the ground to know who is around and what is going on. She gained a deep love for birds when she was small. She loved how the birds could be so peaceful and laid back even though they were so small and fragile. She couldn't hear but she could see, and to her, birds and feathers were so beautiful to her.
