Elysia lives in her own world of blissful ignorance. She often becomes so distracted by her own thoughts and actions that it is easy for her to ignore the actions of others, or even their worries and fears for that matter. Because she is rather aloof, other Tokotas tend to think she is rude, but when she is able to put her blissful ignorance aside, she can actually say things that are surprisingly wise. Elysia can be extremely loving and affectionate or she can be entirely independent and live her life in solitude, because in her eyes, her life doesn't depend on others unless she chooses to have it that way.
