Despite this big Tokota's intimidating appearance, Skarn is as friendly and loyal as they come. He'll go toe to toe with any threat to protect even a strange human, and he wouldn't hesitate to take a bullet for his handler. He's intelligent and picks up on commands quickly, even developing nonverbal communication with his rider using motion cues such as the shifting of weight. He can appear vicious when he needs to, and he definitely has a great deal of bite to back up his bark. However, it takes a lot to upset him. He is content to shrug off transgressions made toward him and even let others push him around, but he's quick to act on behalf of another.
