Ren is a free thinking Tokota, his mind always open to new ideas. Although limited in how he can show off his talents, he's very creative, and likes to think outside of the box. This shows a great deal of intelligence, though combined with his charming personality, this allows him to still fit in with other Tokotas. He is very friendly, to Tokota and handler alike, and doesn't like to fight. That doesn't mean that he can't when he needs to, but he will try his best to avoid confrontation.
