He has lofty expectations of those placed under his care. While he often comes off as cold, apathetic, impatient, and easily annoyed, he is very smart and quick thinking; though he prefers to exhort very little energy in most cases, and prefers to take naps when he can.

He has been known to lie to others in order to manipulate them into doing what's needed, which he excuses as a 'logical deception'.

Despite this, he deeply cares about others and will do anything to protect them, to train them up, and help those in need.
