Syviis is often described as an impish wandering mountain spirit (or sila tonrar) by those who encounter her; it’s unsurprising, given her ghostly white appearance that blends in with the mountainside and her burly dire frame. She is bright, playful and mischievous, and enjoys playing tricks on travellers or excavators that pass by her. 

Syviis lives and breathes the mountains and their intricate cave systems. Alone, she tends to various temples and shrines she has constructed across the Taniya range. Her favourite offering and decoration is heather, and she frequents trips to nearby moores to collect it. Occasionally, she will venture into the depths of the earth to find gemstones and crystals for her deities; only annually, as the trip is a sacred spiritual cleanse for her and a marker of a fresh start and a new year.
