Before he was Skullworth, Red Fur was once a wild Tokota that thrived in the forests and plains of Tokotna when the Norse battled the Anglo-Saxons. Fortune had abandoned him when he ran into the path of the Gorging Boar marauders and was taken from everything he had known. Tortured and beaten into submission he is a cruel Dire longing to one day perhaps return to his home... Yet, at the same time, Skullworth is driven by his cruelty and training as a fighting Dire to perhaps one day attack Bear and overthrow the ugly sod to be the Alpha of the Gorging Boar's Dire pack.

Out of all of the members, the only one Skullworth truly fears is the Matriarch - Móðir. Her motherly behaviour and melancholic look in her eyes makes Skullworth remember his past - his mother - causing conflicting emotions to rise to the surface and drive him insane.
