Although she looks a bit frightening, Laufey is fiercely loyal and protective of what she considers to be 'hers'. This often includes younger tokotas as well as humans, whom she considers helpless.

Having been abandoned at a young age, she hasfaced many a trial to be as she is now. This does not mean she has not fallen down, unable to get up. She just got up at a later time.

Sometimes all you can do is go at a snail's pace, towards the finish line. And winning? Winning is living happily. That's all it is.

And so she says - "Smile, my little ones, and keep trying to fly. Don't give up. Not today."
