Qiq is an odd duck that enjoys just standing to the side of things and staring, like her sister, Qallupilluit. Standoffish, Qiq doesn't wholly enjoy being told what to do, but once the status quo has been set, she will reluctantly do as asked...sometimes with great enthusiasm, such as with hunting. She has an odd habit of chewing on pieces of green wood, and is often seen tearing small branches off of young pines.
