Byzantine is fairly stubborn. He doesn't like to do most things especially if he sees them as being pointless. He likes fishing and hunting and for some reason pulling sleds. It took him forever to be trained to be ridden since he couldn't really see the point in it and still much prefures pulling a sled to having a saddle thrown on him. He can be a bit mean if you don't take things slow with him during his training but he'd never intentionally hurt anyone. He just likes to act big and tough so he won't have to do the things he doesn't want to do. With the right handler though he will work hard as long as you can give him a good motive for doing what he's doing then he'll always give his best effort, just don't expect him to do anything just for the sake of doing it.
