Shai is a reclusive Tokota, he loves nothing more but the peace and quiet. Despite this, he can asert himself well and isn't a submissive type. He won't back down to you unless you show him that you're the leader of the pack. He travels with his human, who is his best friend and source of comfort, Yuki and her horse, whom he also gets along with, Arashi. The trio make an odd sight however Shai, being a gentle Tokota, is more than happy travelling round the mountains with his motley crew. Shai's strengths are in his stamina, he can continue to wander the mountains for hours on end without having to stop, and his hunting, which he excels greatly in. Shai gathers most of the food for his human and is proud to serve her despite her being a young girl.
