Whistle got her name from her unusual, high pitched howl. She is very protective of her brother, Scratch, and puts up a fierce front when they meet other tokotas; however, once taken in by Anana, and seeing her brother come into his own, she settles down somewhat and reveals a slightly gentler temperament.
