Kody is extremely curious and eager with a youthful playfulness that often gets him into trouble. He's rather clumsy and accident prone as well, often causing his handlers to wonder what he will possibly be good at. He's a sweetheart though, free of fear and willing to trust about anyone-rather naive and inexperienced in the harsh realities of life. He also rather likes water-he will not pass up the opportunity to get himself wet, even if it is to stomp through a simple rain puddle (though he'll absolutely roll in it if he can).
