Ransomed comes off as gruff and uninterested. But in reality, that's just his face, he's not used to socializing, and he's the type to think before he speaks. If you find yourself with a long awkward silence as you wait for a response from Ransomed, he's not ignoring you! He was just trying to think of what to say and then began to mentally panic as too much time passed by to really say anything; he's more than likely freaking out in his head on whether it's best to say something eventually or if it'd be less awkward to just not answer. 

Beyond his lack of social skill, Ransomed loves small animals and can't help staring at them, wanting them to be friends. He'll help others with a hunt against a small prey but he won't make the killing blow himself; instead, you can find him looking away, glaring at some poor tree or rock. 

Ransomed is also rather sensitive about his size. He's well aware that he's short statured, compared to others of his breed. Any comments on it would result in him staring. And then him mentally spiraling, not hearing any other parts of the conversation and default glaring at whoever happens to be in front of him. 

Ransomed lives in the Iluq Forest, after his puphood home fell into disrepair. He's learned a trick to always find his way back. Living with him is Redi, Pinto, and sometimes Toto, if Toto hadn't gotten lost again.
