Marin is very protective and untrusting towards those that she does not know. If introduced by her handler, she will be more welcoming and willing to be nice, but if they are some random stranger, she will growl, and possibly even snap if they get too close to her or her handler. She is very quiet, preferring to glare, and only growls very quietly as a warning, unless they reach out to touch her, then she will raise her growl up to be heard better. When it us just those she trusts around, she can be quite relaxed and friendly. She is used to train young pups and can be quite rough with them, but it's her way of helping them imporve as nature and their prey will not go easy on them.
