Aurora was born and raised in Nihla Village, a small settlement on the side of a snow-covered mountain. She has grown well accustomed to the cold, as well as relying on others. Staying alive in this harsh climate is a team effort.

Aurora's village has always worshipped Borga, offering sacrifices and prayers in exchange for his mercy from the unforgiving elements. Aurora has taken this worship to heart and is completely obsessed with Borga. She tends to disappear for days on end in search of the diety, believing that everything she does must be in service to him. Her preoccupation tends to drive other tokotas away, but she doesn't seem to notice or care. At least she has her human.
