Kirjava is playful, youthful, and very tokota orientated. Although she does bond and respect her human counterparts, she is much more at home in a pack environment, particularly when hunting or fishing. Naturally rebellious towards saddling and being ridden, she is considered more of a pack mate rather than a tokota used for ridden activities, however her energetic personality is hard to resist.
