Astaroth is an overly self-confident and prideful male.  He is a smooth talker and rarely takes anything seriously.  He is a master at manipulation and can talk nearly anyone into doing what he wants them to do without them ever realizing it.  Ordinary daily tasks, such as hunting or fishing, are beneath him.  He prefers to con someone else to do these tasks for him.  He absolutely despises getting wet and loathes fishing, despite his loving to eat fish.  He just has to work to trick someone else into to doing the task of fishing for him.
