Originally bred as a show tokota, Koto's temperament renders him useless in the show ring. Stubborn, grumpy, and distinctly free-willed, he bucked every attempt to teach him to behave in the ring. Outside of the ring, however, he has mellowed now that he is allowed to run free and far. Much less irritable now, he is loyal as the dawn, with a penchant for stealing sweets, despite not being able to taste them well.
