He is an alpha type male that others tend to look up to and lean on. When he was three a hunt didn't go well and the result was an injury to his right hind leg which he now visibly limps with when he walks. It is only slightly painful to him, but he works through it and ignores it. His ability to work through pain is highly respected by the other tokotas in his pack and few have attempted to take his position.
