Calm, loyal, gentle, hard-working and caring. His handler is blind, and he is smart enough to know that, and to do all he can to guide and protect him. Sometimes, in very tense and dangerous situations, he can become possessed by the ghost of his handler's dead brother. How this will effect his training we will have to wait and see. Arzhel will protect Vanya with all he is, and the two have a unique way of communicating with eachother through touch and sometimes sound. Vanya often rides Arzhel to get around, with the Tokota as his eyes. They work well together; Vanya's extremely heightened sense of smell and hearing and Arzhel's strength and ability to see. When working together, almost no voice commands are given. Most of the commands given are through touch. Vanya does, sometimes, employ one of his species modes of communication into commands; this being various chirps, chirrs, and coos. Vanya has become more confident since he's had Arzhel; since by himself he was unable to hunt. With the help of his Tokota, Vanya now feels that he can be a useful member of his Colony and hunt for his his hatchling twins and their mother, the Elder Kaitu.
