Shy and easily scared off, Velvet isn't the most reliable mount. He does his best but his skittish nature can make him a difficult tokota for inexperienced riders, and the worst situation for him would be to be alone in the midst of danger. That being said, he does better with a pack to keep him calm(er), and when among tokotas he's come to trust he can actually be functional. Still, treat him gently.
