Groggie's poorly functional eyes bestowed the capacity of seeing through people since a very young age. As if he was a walking irony (something he bears out in his name, which means 'Clear-Sighted'), this big, gentle pup might just be able to sniff the emotional state of those around him. Feeling happy or ecstatic? He will jump around in happiness too. Are you angry? He'll keep guard and growl at everyone that approaches you. Maybe feel like crying? Let him prod his nose on your face and howl with you- his mane makes a fantastic hugging pillow as well. There is absolutely no one Groggie hates, and no one would ever hate Groggie. Since his handicap won't allow him to work properly in a pack, he spends most of his time pacing around the Estate. This doesn't mean he will not try and do his best, and probably even pass his Rites by himself.
