He isn't really an old man, but he tends to act like one. He dislikes change and is a bit of a grump. He doesn't necessarily have a problem with authority, but his respect and deference definitely needs to be earned. He fancies himself a leader, but mostly because he thinks he knows better than anyone else, which isn't really always the case. He has his moments of wisdom and gentleness, but usually they're reserved for those whom he is closest to. Surprisingly, he has a soft spot for pups, and can occasionally be caught calmly telling them stories or entertaining their silly games.
