Coastal Alonastia

Narnvak
Warm, Humid, Refreshing Breezes
Description:
Home to one of the most beautiful beaches, Coastal Alonastia is a pleasant seaside town where people come to vacation year round. The main port is easy to find, as it’s one of the only working ports leading to the town. With friendly locals it’s not hard to navigate your way through and find the places you’re looking for. There are dangerous sandbars in the southwestern waters that make sailing near impossible but swimming and lounging on the beach under the palm trees is encouraged. As one goes northeast, away from the ocean, you’ll find thick green foliage and murky waters that giant lizards and strange fish call home. The air gets drier the farther you move towards the southeastern shore.
Landmarks:
  • Leviat Lighthouse - A distance away from the main port dock on a section of land is an old large lighthouse that tirelessly works every night to guide any ships that happen to be in the area. Not only does it warn ships of the rocky cliffs, but of the dangerous sandbars.
  • Palm Tree Bay - A section of beach where a cluster of palm trees grow, casting shade over the warm sand and providing the perfect place to lounge. A few hammocks can be found between the closest of the trees.
  • Kiddie Koast - A few shallow tide pools that are popular with children and those who want to search for interesting sea life without needing a snorkel. The crabs can be feisty here.
Lore:
Devlin Johnston, the current dock master, is rumored to be as old as the lighthouse itself. There's no evidence to prove otherwise…

Some say the swampy waters are home to a monstrous lizard, but those who have seen it have never returned to tell the tale.
