Crafting

How to Craft | Crafting Tiers | FAQ
Crafting is optional automated content in which you can turn materials from hunting, exploration, fishing, caving and diving in your bank into various beneficial items for your Tokota. You can also find recipes via exploration, caving and diving that will unlock new items for you to make. Lower rank recipes can be used to craft higher-rank recipes.

How to Craft

In order to begin crafting, you need crafting materials from activities ready to use in your bank account. Some items require a recipe scroll to unlock them before you can craft them. Recipes, when redeemed, unlock the blueprints to a "hidden" item and the ability to craft it for whomever possesses the recipe in their bank. You may craft as many Common, Uncommon, or Rare recipe items per month as you wish. Legendary recipe items may be crafted twice per month per recipe, until you reach Tier 10 where the bonus allows for an extra legendary item to be crafted per month per recipe. If an item is found under the ‘Free’ tab in your Recipe Book, you do not need to unlock the recipe to craft it. These items may also be crafted as many times per month as you wish.

All combinations of ingredients and tier advancements are automatic in your Crafting tab. The items must already be in your bank in order to craft.

Once crafted, the ingredient items are automatically removed from your bank and if your craft was successful, the new crafted item is deposited into your bank. Crafted items are applied just like other items in Breeding, Continuous Events, and Activities, where they must be listed in your form to be used.

Crafting Tiers

Your fail rate in crafting depends on your tier, which is proportional to how much crafting you have so far done successfully. Everyone begins at Tier One automatically. At higher tiers, you will also gain bonuses. "Successfully crafted items" can be anything! Spools, fabric dye, leather, tack, etc. Anything you have successfully combined into one product can count.

Previous tiers' successes count towards your next tier. For example, if you craft the five items you need to get to Tier 2, that means you only need 10 more successfully crafted items plus the five you already had in order to reach Tier 3, and so on.

Please be aware! While you may attempt to craft multiple items at once, your next tier's requirements are not calculated until after all items have been crafted. If you're attempting to get to the next tier, it's recommended to craft one item at a time.
