How the Tokota Tracker Works

What’s an alpha score?

An alpha score is a rough measure of how close your Tokota is to alpha, to make it easier to find those who are nearly there.

It is calculated as follows:

  • 20% Proportion of required Alpha HP the Tokota has. So if your Tokota had 225 HP and needed 550 for Alpha, this would be 50% of the Alpha HP, so 10% Alpha Score.
    • In the case of Infertile Tokotas, this is 40%
    • Sterile Tokotas may either have:
      • A Dom Child - in which case HP is 20%.
      • A Stone of Aippaq applied - in which case HP is 20%.
      • Neither of those, in which case the assumption is they’re doing the 250 extra HP and additional alpha rites image of Infertile tokotas.
  • 10% for being Dominant.
  • 20% for having a Dominant Child (or a Stone of Aippaq replacement).
    • If they don’t have a Dominant Child, 10% for having Any Child.
    • If they don’t have Any Child, 5% for having their Rites of Fertility.
  • 10% for having a CE win equivalent.
    • Forged Gold Medals and Stones of Aippaq applied for win count.
  • 10% for having each of the Activity Success Types (40% total across all Activities).
    • If they have some proportion of the activities required we count that.
    • If your tribe has Destined for Greatness, only 4 of each Activity are needed and this is taken into account.
    • If a Stone of Aippaq is used for Activity Successes this will also count.
Why is there a wait time between updates?

Updating the data for all your Tokotas is quite hard on the Database. In order to ensure everyone can use this feature we’ve added a wait time between updates.

This will be adjusted depending on system performance.

The wait time is shorter for members with Aurora Accounts to reflect the fact that Aurora Account sales help pay for hosting and Database space.

I’m on Mobile - how do I use this?

Selecting the Minimal PotA view will let you see the smallest number of columns. This should make the page possible to view with some scrolling, or horizontally.
