Lore: Across Makittaq Bridge, there's a rumor that missing persons were lured away by a mysterious child wailing into the frigid air. After several years of occurrences, all marked by the sound of wailing, the natives of Nutaaq Island warn all who dare to trek over the bridge; never follow the sound of children, never investigate the screams of women, and never, ever look over the walls.
Maguyuk is the spirit amalgam of all those who had lost their lives on Makittaq Bridge. Any of those who claim to have seen the creature never admit to a positive experience, as its caterwauls send the feeling of ice down their veins. Nothing good can come from crossing its path.
