Lightning storms are not uncommon in this area, though it doesn't rain as much. You don't want to venture here without a coat of some kind, even if it looks bright and sunny.
The weather is very changeable, often damp and foggy. It is very humid in summer and feels frosty in winter.
Description:
Shady Shallows is dominated by a large perpetually mist covered lake surrounded by dense forestry. To the northeast the mountains dominate the sky doused in storm clouds. The south east gives way to the Riders' on The Storms' camp ground. No rivers feed into the lake, so it consistently stays the same level.Landmarks:
