Nobuhiko has a proud and unbending personality that can be hard to understand for a first timer around him. He is cold and aloof toward new members of his handler's pack as well as to strangers he has never met before. Despite this aloofness, he is still polite and well behaved - almost never snapping at any other human or tokota, regardless of how badly he is harassed. This make Nobu a great candidate for interacting with children and his instinctual paternal instinct also makes him a good "nanny." If there's one thing that Nobu cannot stand however, it is fish - the way they feel and the water on his fur are his least favorite things. He will even avoid going out in the rain at all costs - even to his own detriment.
