Temestrade is courageous, strong and unafraid. He was personally selected by Levi Ackerman after his horse was taken out by the beast titan. Tempest has a great temperament and work ethic. Specifically bred by the Survey Corps. for speed, endurance to run long distances without complaint but also for gentleness and soundness. He is a talented runner and has a long but very smooth gait allowing his to be ridden for long periods of time without his handler getting sore to outrun titans. The nearly constant sound of Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear being used so close to him seems to have no effect on Tempest. He is unafraid of the titans but secretly he is actually terrified of his rider being eaten by one but determined to protect his rider at all costs.
