Personality
Elsa is far more calm and composed then her sister and brothers. To some, she appears very detached and even unsociable, though in truth, she was still very much capable of being playful. She is strong and unafraid, yet with an air of elegance still surrounding her. Specifically bred by the Survey Corps. for speed, endurance to run long distances without complaint but also for gentleness and soundness. Elsa is a natural born runner and has a long but very smooth gait allowing her to be ridden for long periods of time without her handler getting sore to outrun titans. The nearly constant sound of Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear being used so close to her seems to have no effect on Elsa. She is not normally frightened in the presence of Titans but she is afraid of losing her handler to them.

- Scout Regiment recruits from the 104th Cadet Corps are sent into Wall Rose under the supervision of Miche Zacharius.
Assault on Stohess District
- In Stohess District, the Scout Regiment attempts to quietly capture Annie Leonhart, but she transforms into a Titan. Eren's Titan fights Annie's Female Titan, causing great death and destruction in the district. After failing to escape the district, Annie encases herself in a crystalline substance to avoid capture.
- Wall Sina is damaged in the battle, revealing a titan in the wall.
Wall Rose Invasion
Invasion Sighted - Miche Zacharius sends out Tomas to warn Commander Erwin of the sighting of Titans that have inexplicably appeared within Wall Rose. Mike encounters the Beast Titan, who cripples him before leaving him to be killed by Titans.
11 Hours After Sighting - Scout Regiment teams led by Gelgar and Nanaba rest at Utgard Castle after running into each other. They are soon attacked by Titans which can move at night, forcing the Scout Regiment veterans and recruits into a fight for survival throughout the night.
12 Hours After Sighting - Tomas arrives in Stohess and warns Erwin Smith, who is being questioned by the Stohess District Mayor for his actions in the Stohess District raid, of the Titan sighting.
16 Hours After Sighting - The Scout Regiment members from the Stohess operation arrive in Ehrmich District en route to Utgard Castle. There, Minister Nick reveals the importance of Historia Reiss in uncovering the secret of the Walls. The Scout Regiment also receive information that point to Reiner and Bertolt being in league with Annie Leonhart.
- The Scout Regiment embarks on the 57th Exterior Scouting Mission, departing from Calaneth District. Annie disrupts the expedition as the Female Titan, invading the right flank of the expedition to search for Eren. Commander Erwin leads her into a Forest of Giant Trees, and successfully uses special Target Restraining weapons to capture her. However, using her shriek to attract Titans to her, she escapes the Scouts' capture and kills four members of the Special Operations Squad.
- Adalee is injured in this mission as well but survives to see another day.
- The Scout Regiment begins to suspect that Annie Leonhart is the Female Titan. Erwin Smith devises a plan to capture her in Stohess District.
Adalee, Evon, and Geneva recieve their tokotas and start training for the 57th expedition and future missions. Varrick recieves Orkid after he loses his horse in a mission outside the walls.
