Rebith was taken as a pup from his mother in the wild. He was held in a small cage in a warehouse where he was used as breeding stock in an illegal dire breeding ring. 2 years later, the TCA found and shut down the operation. All the dires were adopted out to new homes, and Rebith was given into the hands of a local Inuit Tribe. Because of his trust issues and dislike of long periods in captivity, Rebith is allowed to freely roam the Inuit's territory while being closely monitored by radio collar. Despite his solitary nature, he has a close bond with a young girl from the Tribe, who often makes long treks into the wilderness just to visit him.
