Tavi is very intelligent, though he can be arrogant, but he doesn't let this get in the way of him doing his thing. He also has quite a dry sense of humour, making sarcastic comments quite often. He is extremely protective at times and very loyal to those he cares about. He is quite quick to fight and agressive, but he himself would claim he only fights if he has to. He find it difficult to listen to authority figures unless he respects or likes them.
