Dohate can be sometimes little bit troublesome, although he is mainly human friendly. Before he was wandering wherever he pleased and causing plenty of trouble of villagers and and attempting to woo lady Tokotas. He has settled down since then, but still may still be little bit obstinate. He's not afraid of anything, but he's not stupid. He likes to slip his halter or stall and go on adventures that may last for hours or weeks at a time. He's quick, agile, and a keen tracker; when handled well, he's a great partner for sport.
