Akik came to Ge as a rescue from TCA when they were looking to rehabilitate tokotas in a more natural pack environment. Upon first arriving, she was very quiet and snappy towards anyone, baring her teeth to anyone who came near. After slowly introducing more of Ge's docile tokotas, he was able to bond with Akik and have her break out of her shell. She remained quiet but didn't snap as a first reaction, but did continue to bare her teeth if someone came up behind her suddenly. When the TCA came to check up on her, Ge handed over an application to adopt her. Now she remains on the ranch, still working on getting her used to different situations.
