Lore:

The spirit is bound within the lava streams and the volcanoes of Alurik. The fearsome looking spirit is highly mischievous and easily bored by the mundane caverns and pools where he lives, unable to leave. His 'tricks' cause the lava to rise, his tantrums make the volcano rumble, and his howls bring smoke from the bowels of the volcano. As a result, the local children have a tradition of creating new games and songs to entertain the spirit by dropping gifts into crags in the ground to be taken to Ikkuva or by leaving oddities in the caverns. The local shamans carry fabrics that they imbue over years with calming energy and create new 'cords' that bind the spirit's chaos and calm him for a while.
