Alurik

(AA-lur-rick)
Warm and humid weather dominate much of the year for the Alurik region. Winters can be bitterly cold as northern winds blow through, which has resulted in most cities nestling near geothermic hotspots such as volcanos and hot springs.
Description:
Alurik, the land of volcanos and hot springs. The first view of this area is always dominated by the massive volcano at the center, Ravarri. There are large man made furrows in the ground that wind around farms and cities into the sea, their protection against erruptions.

There are many half buried towns, cities, and temple up and down the volcanos. Abandoned to time when the residents moved to avoid their destruction. For this reason there is a high number of universities and historical societies reaching older tokotna.
