Appearance: Juniper is a young adult that has an androgenous appearance which suits them just fine. They are lanky with a runner’s build. They have olive skin that is usually smudged with soot or ash from the biome of Alurik. Junip has warm, doe-like grey eyes that fade to hazel around their pupils. Their head is adorned with coarse, curly black hair cut pixie-bob style. Their eyebrows have a single notch in each. Their jawline is more on the soft side and curves back in an almost ‘heart’ shape. They usually wear clothes suitable for light movement: cargo pants, tees, flannels, sneakers or hiking boots are a go to for them.
Personality: While many see them as a kind and gentle person, Juniper simply knows when and where to assert authority. Juniper is professional with their customers and acquaintances. When they are not on the job, they are laid back and often seen smiling; they're a good-natured soul. Junip has a heart for the land and its inhabitants with an even softer spot for their parents. They're not a quick, open read as far as deep conversation goes. However, as more trust and bond is formed, Juniper is quick to put in a good word or deed for a companion. The tips of their fingers whiten when they’re nervous or cold, which is probably a contribution to their preference of the warm biome the local volcanoes provide.
Background: Juniper was raised by loving parents whom they visit frequently on their off days. The region their family grew up in was quite rural, so general studies were homeschooled. Juniper learned the ‘tools of the trade’ as far as household chores and the like. Juniper did a lot of traveling as an adolescent. They didn’t have a particular driving passion as far as finding an occupation went until they happened across a roadside stable and inn. Having a valuable survival skill set as well as an expansive knowledge of the surrounding areas proved useful as they became a stablehand and eventually, manager. Juniper has happily shared directions, their expertise, and their stories with any inquisitive travelers.
