Busy Booties

Plimsol have recently released their spring fashion line including a redesign of their previously rather lackluster Tokota booties. After unveiling the new product with humdrum response from Tokota handlers, the company is seeking volunteer Tokotas to review this new fashionable product. Draw your Tokota(s) engaging with the Tokota booties product. Tokotas may be shown testing the footwear in the field, in the rain, or in any other weather, or modeling these spectacular booties around the village. These booties may come in many shapes and sizes, from rain boots to work out bands.

Getting In Shape

It's been a long winter spent cozying up by the fire and eating copious amounts of bear pie and caribou casserole. It is a beautiful day today and your tokotas have gotten too use to lazing about for the holidays. What could be a better time than now to whip them back into shape for spring? Depict your tokotas willingly or not, getting some exercise and enjoying the day. Something as simple as a game of fetch, or maybe a custom obstacle course through the Tartok mountains? It's up to you!

Courting your Cupid

Love is in the air! Valentines day approaches and all of Tokotna is in the spirit. Roses, hearts, and all things romance dangle from trees, bushes, and windows. It seems your tokota has chosen a rather stubborn partner to woo for the planned festivities, however. Depict your tokota attempting to win the heart of their rather unwilling subject, whether it be by offering gifts, reciting poetry, or by other, less sophisticated methods.

Mud Bath

It was a long day out on the trail. After you returned home you washed down your tokota and let them loose. You had turned your back for one second and by the time you turned around your tokota was gone. You scan the horizon and spot them..rolling around in the mud and bushes. You had just given them a brush down and a bath and now their fur was matted with debris. Depict your tokota rolling in the mud, escaping their handler, or getting a second bath.

Berry Bash

Your town is experiencing a shortage of berries. Rather than wait for the shop-keeps to restock, you and your tokotas are heading out to the field to pick some berries. You are working on a recipe and are hoping to get a good haul. Will your tokotas be helpful or go on a berry squashing spree? Depict your tokotas helping or hurting your quest for berries!

Flea for your Life

It is only the start of Spring and the insects of Tokotna are back up and running. The light winter left the bug armies with most of their ranks that a freeze would have normally killed off. Tokotas are starting to develop flea infestations and the whole town seems to be itching and scratching. Depict how your tokota has been dealing with those little invaders, whether they choose a more natural method or a vet prescribed one!

Easter Eve

Twas the night before Easter and all the Chickens have escaped! Knowing the Easter bunny was on his way the chickens made their break to meet him and hide their eggs! You can see feathers showing that some flew out into the wilds and others headed into the town to start hiding eggs everywhere. Depict your tokota seeking, finding, and rounding up the chickens from all over town. Make sure you uncover all the eggs they have stowed today, so you don't discover them rotten tomorrow!

Rainbow Run

Spring is officially here and with the weather turning for the better, the TCA Rehoming Project is holding an annual color run fundraiser. Tokotas will run a course near the Tartok Foothills while volunteers throw colorful powdery dye at them. No tokotas leaves without being turned all the colors of the rainbow! At the end of the course all tokotas must jump into the lake and swim to the dock to finish the course. The dye usually gets runny after they splash through the water, so be careful as they will try to shake it onto you as they come across the finish line.

Flea Market

The big Trading Post sale is coming up soon and everyone is saving up. The flea market is bustling and you can hardly take five steps down the town sidewalk without someone offering to sell you something. Even if you wanted to you don't have much TT to offer them. If you can't beat them you join them! Depict your handler and tokota trying to earn TT by displaying their wares, selling door to door, or working their stall at the flea market.

Prickly Situation

Shouka 12581 is known for being grumpy, but lately she has been down-right aggressive. Through sightings and close encounters it is determined that Shouka is covered in briars. The poor tokota needs help and scares off anyone that comes near her! Depict your tokota joining the effort to lasso, gain the trust, or otherwise catch and help Starter remove all the spiky hitchhikers.

This quest requires one tokota depicted with starter Shouka 12581.

June

Town Gossip

There have been whispers around town about the mountains lately. Everyone you seem to walk past in the street is talking about what they could possibly find up in those desolate locations. Could anything survive in that climate? What has changed that will allow some to venture up there? The most common theories include bigfoot, the fountain of youth, or spirits. Jerry, who hangs out in front of the general store, is pretty sure that is where the aliens planted the seed to start the life on Earth, and where they continue to monitor it. The rest just think they will find nothing. Depict your tokota dreaming about what is up in those lonely mountains, whether it is a mystery to be discovered or to be avoided.

Fur-for-all

Spring is coming to an end. Every day seems hotter than the last and there is tokota fur everywhere. You have noticed that your tokotas have been shedding their thick winter coats and growing in their (still pretty thick) summer coat. Some are going nuts scratching and shaking off as much fur as they can manage. Depict your tokota shedding their coat, whether they are rubbing against a tree, visiting the groomers for a summer cut, or getting a good brushing from their handler.

Friendly Visit

There have been a lot of accidents lately, and many of your tokota's friends have ended up at the veterinarian hospital! It can be depressing to be ordered on bed rest to heal up for days. Depict your tokota visiting the vet hospital to cheer up the injured tokotas, whether they bring treats, medical supplies, or just comfort those who could use some cheering up!

Pantry Raid

Summer is a time for good fun, good friends, and good food. It seems Barbecue is on everyone's mind since most people in Tokotna are preparing in their kitchen or outside grilling in the summer heat. It's no surprise that the tantalizing scent wafting from the kitchen or the smell of a sizzling grill could attract some unwanted attention. Depict your tokota raiding the fridge, sneaking some snacks from the table, or even crashing a summer BBQ to score some of those yummy summer treats.

Restock Run

A few weeks ago a troupe had exited town to go explore deeper into the unknown parts of Tokotna. Recently a message was received that they were running out of food and supplies at the camp they set up. The Mayor is offering a reward for whoever is willing to carry the supplies out to the team. You step forward willing to complete the journey. Depict your tokota wearing a harness while pulling a sled, carrying saddlebags, or otherwise bringing supplies to help restock the camp.

You have to Start Somewhere

Every tokota was a novice at one point in time. To become a great hunter, herder, or show winner, a Tokota pup must learn early to become a master. It is the task of your Tokota to train a group of pups in a specific activity, may it be hunting, fishing, scouting, herding, or the basics to working in a show. Depict your Tokota teaching at least one pup a new skill.

Size does matter

When your tokota tucked in early the night before from their stomach ache they didn't think much of it. Now your tokota woke up and it is nearly three times its normal size, and still growing! Could it have been that tea party with all the 'drink me' bottles? Depict your tokota dealing with their large size. Whether they are clumsily avoiding stepping on anything or anyone, hiding and avoiding capture, or frantically trying to find the correct bottle to reduce their size?

Make sure you show your tokotas size! Use Background items like trees, houses, or even other tokotas to show they are larger than normal!

September

Poachers be gone

Poaching has always been a problem in Tokotna and with most tokotas away working in the mountains, the illegal hunters are running rampant. You have been called upon to make a rag tag team of poacher hunters and help drive the poachers out of Tokotna. You have been asked to remove traps, free animals, and capture some of the worst offenders. You are not authorized to use deadly force. Depict your tokota discovering animal traps, freeing caught animals and tokotas, or tracking down the poachers that have a warrant.

A Summer's End

The first day of fall has just passed in Tokotna, but the tokotas are not ready to give up Summer yet. Everyone in town packs up their things and heads for the nearest beach. They refuse to let Summer go without one last hoorah. The beach is already busy when you arrive early in the morning and you quickly find a spot to claim in the sand. Depict your tokota having a beach day, whether it was a beautiful warm day or if they were a day too late and the cold has already arrived.

Harvest Festival

Fall has finally arrived. The leaves are turning orange and falling from their trees and a cold breeze has arrived that cuts through your summer t-shirt. The Harvest festival is this coming weekend. Every year the town comes together to gather all the remaining crops from the fields and to show off their prized vegetables and livestock from this year. The annual pumpkin carving contest is held at the Harvest festival as well as other games and activities for everyone to enjoy. Depict your handler and tokota enjoying the Harvest festival. Whether they are helping gather the last of the crops, carving a pumpkin, or admiring the entrants for vegetable and livestock competitions.

Hibernation

Winter arrived early this year. It has been snowing every day for the past week. The wind has been relentless and the snow is hardly having time to melt before the next barrage. You look up the forecast and it doesn't seem like it will be letting up for a few more days. When you look outside you see your tokota laying out in the cold, almost purposefully in full view of your window. They certainly are acting pitiful out in the terrible weather. You know they are coated in fur and are built for this weather, but watching their display you give in. You open the door to invite them in, but before you can, they barge in and shake the snow from their fur in your living room. You may regret this decision... Depict your tokota's time indoors, whether they are a good house guest and are indulging some hot chocolate and treats or are a nuisance and destroy your house.

Trashin' the Camp

Summer is over and the cold weather is creeping over Tokotna. After a week of beautiful autumn weather you decide to take advantage and head out into the woods for a camping trip! You pack everything you need including a tent, folding table, sleeping bag, and enough food to last you the trip. You climb up on your tokota and the pair of you head out into the woods. By night you have your tent pitched and are settling in for the night, exhausted from scouting and setting up camp. In the morning you open you tent to discover all your food strewn about the camp and a trail of wrappers leading into the woods. Depict your handler and tokota following the trail of half eaten food. Whom or What will they discover at the end of it?

Supperstar

The Great Tokotna Cook off Show has started up for the year. The first round has begun to narrow down the best chefs in the land. This season one of the starting rounds is being hosted in your town! You head out and sign up as soon as you hear about it. This is no normal cooking show, contestants must capture their prey on the first day and cook their dish on the second. Depict your handler and tokota competing in Day 2 of the opening round. Whether they are preparing their meal, trying to recover from a disaster in the kitchen, or putting on the finishing touches for the judges. Who will be the next Supperstar of Tokotna!?

Spirit of Giving

It is the Holiday season in Tokotna! There are decorations in everyone's yard and adorning their houses. People are out trying to buy gifts for all their loved ones and this year some are staying in to buy gifts online. Tokotna is not easily reached this time of year by any sort of vehicle, so a team of tokotas has been called on to make sure all the gifts make it into town for the Holidays! Your tokota has been hired to help! Depict your tokota helping fill sleds with Holiday presents, towing a sled filled with Holiday presents, or delivering gifts to the homes in town.
