Lonely Hearts Club

Everyone's all riled up about Tokotines, but for some reason one of your Tokotas is feeling a bit disconnected and distanced from everyone else. Has something driven a wedge between them and one of their closest friends, or maybe they're just having a rough time finding someone to talk to? Maybe they just need a break to do some self-reflection. Depict your Tokota(s) experiencing a moment of loneliness; feel free to elaborate how they got to that point, and/or how they overcome it, if they manage to do so.

Fishing Folly

As the snow melts, prey is on the move, including fish in the thawing waterways. However, something is amiss at your Tokota's favorite fishing spot: be it a natural phenomena like a newly built beaver dam blocking up the water and preventing the fish from flowing, or something more sinister like Borga re-freezing the waterways. Depict what is wrong at the fishing spot and how your Tokota(s) reacts to it; feel free to elaborate on the issue. Do they try to resolve it or do they leave to find a better fishing spot elsewhere?

As various critters come out of hibernation, your Tokota chances an encounter with a (real) creature it's never seen before. Depict your Tokota(s) new experience with this animal: what is it, and how do they react to it? How does it react to them?

Seeking Solace

Someone your Tokota knows is feeling a bit glum or ill. What can your Tokota do to help cheer them up or make them feel better? Is it another Tokota, or their very own handler? Depict your Tokota(s) attempting to lift someone else's spirits; feel free to elaborate whether or not the recipient is even receptive to their attempt(s).

You're Doing It Wrong

As Tokotna turns another year older, Tokotas far and wide are preparing to celebrate. But not everyone celebrates the same way, and some Tokotas even disagree on how to properly celebrate. Depict your Tokota(s) quarreling about, rebuking, or even refusing how to celebrate the nation's anniversary. Feel free to elaborate in what way they would prefer to celebrate. Can they overcome their disagreement through compromise or giving in, or do they go off to celebrate in their own way? How does their attitude affect others?

Tell No Tales

A rumor is spreading around Tokotna about one of your Tokotas, based on a true attribute or experience of your Tokota, but the rumor doesn't tell the full tale. Depict your Tokota(s) hearing this rumor and/or setting the record straight or letting it go. Feel free to elaborate if your Tokota is humbled or humiliated by this rumor, how much truth there is to it, and how it affects their reputation among friends and/or strangers.

Seaside Legend

Legends speak of a ghostly pirate ship spotted around Kesuk Bay on the night of a full moon. According to the tales, those that sight the black masted galleon experience a change in their fortunes. Depict your Tokota visiting the seashore. Do they spot the pirate ship, or does it elude them?

Winter is Coming

Winter seems to be coming sooner than expected. It’s a race against time to harvest the summer crops and gather wood to last through the winter. Depict your Tokota helping with a harvest, gathering wood, or otherwise preparing for winter. Do they stick to the task at hand or do they take a break to jump in a pile of leaves? (Squid?! How'd a squid get in this pile of leaves?!)

The House on the Hill

Local folklore whispers tales of a mysterious house in the middle of nowhere. As the tales go, at exactly midnight witnesses see a light pop out of nothing followed by an entire house. The light is often seen wandering around the immediate area of the house. What does your toko see when they decide to check the tale out? Maybe it’s just swamp gas in Maquraq or maybe the house is really a lighthouse and the mysterious light is Eoghan looking for his lost companions along the coasts of Narnvak?

Party Crashers

A festival is being held in Maquraq to honor one of their deities.There is a beautiful feast being set up while the festival attendees participate in various activities. A troop of Macaques have decided to crash the party. They begin snatching as much food and shiny objects as they can. Does your toko take advantage of the chaos to snatch some snacks for themselves? Or do they jump in to help drive off the pesky monkeys?
